To move the Ziah Mission School forward, the following steps need to be taken:

1.  First, we must assess the quality of teachers at the school and provide training to the ones that should be retained. This is guided by research that shows that the most important element in influencing a child’s learning outcome is to have qualified teachers in the classroom.

2. Increase the salaries of trained teachers so other work opportunities will not compete with their teaching careers.

3. Hire a professional who can change the school's culture to ensure teachers, students, and administrators understand their purpose. This results from learning that teachers are often not in school during school hours to tend to their farms.

4. Build, equip, and furnish a new facility, estimated at US $150k
